I used the SNES's background mode 4 in this game, which supports 8-bit per pixel graphics (256 colors). It seems that this GBA thing doesn't support it. Interesting, I didn't know that existed.
One tip I can give you is to stay at the bottom of the screen, Luigi will always come out from the bottom, you just have to be careful with the others who also come out from there in addition to those already on the screen. Good luck!
I try this one out and this one surprises that this one is really good. The controls is different than the DS Version, and I find this one to be more challenging than the DS Version which is pretty much a good thing. I really enjoy this fanmade/homebrew game calling back to one of the minigames of Super Mario 64 DS, and New Super Mario Bros. DS.
I had a ton of fun playing this, surprisingly more so than the original versions on the DS. Although I'd like SNES Mouse support if that's at all possible, you did a great job with this.

By the way, I made a video about this homebrew game.
I knew someone would eventually port it to the SNES!

Yes, I agree that SNES Mouse Support would be cool to move around as a heart.
